Performance 3: The Multiple 2003 performance with photo documentation
Ten actors move through an art opening (for a show curated by the artists) in what appears to be a chaotic manner, intersecting with one another, exchanging dialogue, separating, and meeting again. Some relationships between characters are close; others are tangential. This performance also involves some moments of high melodrama – notably a woman slapping her boyfriend – which are repeated four times throughout the evening.
