Performance 4: The Line 2003 performance/video installation with
photo documentation
A covert performance (on Art Boat 2003), in which two actors have the same argument 41 times. Each time they perform the dialogue, one line is replaced with an alternate line. The alternate lines themselves form a dialogue in which the power dynamic between the man and woman is the reverse of the dynamic in the basic argument. (A video showing the use of alternate lines was being played on the boat.)
