Performance 5: Positions 2004 performance with photo documentation
A covert performance on Art Boat 2004. A “misunderstanding” between two actors, one playing a server and one a patron, escalates into a visible confrontation. After the confrontation the patron discusses the matter with a friend. The script is repeated numerous times throughout the afternoon, with several actors rotating through the roles of patron, server, and friend, so that the server becomes the patron in the next confrontation, and so on.
