Platform Constellation (Harlem Ave:
Sept. 22-26, 2003; 7:51-8:15 AM) 2003 performance with photo documentation
A five-day performance on a Metra station platform, while commuters waited for the 8:15 train each morning. Each day, six actors are involved in a kind of activity which stood out slightly but would not seem out of place altogether: a tense phone conversation, a person pacing between two lampposts, a couple sitting intimately on a bench. Each morning uses six new actors, so that the odd behavior appears to be repeated by different people.
